Diamante Arts & Cultural Center is hosting their annual Bara Bara Community Exhibition and I am proud to have 3 pieces in the show!
The Durham Art Guild presents the 2023 Members’ Showcase Exhibition at Truist Gallery inside the Durham Arts Council building. This annual exhibition is a submission-free and non-juried opportunity to showcase the work of our talented and valued member artists. This year’s exhibition features over 70 artworks by 70 local/regional member artists working in a variety of mediums and styles.
The artists of Golden Belt are hosting their first Community Show "Au". All art forms are showcased in this display with the goal of puting as much art on the walls as possible! The artwork includes paintings in a variety of media, textiles, sculpture, and jewelry. This is a highly eclectic show of original work by artists with a range of experience, from very experienced to emerging. The show will be up for the month of February!
This solo display is on view at Poki Bowl Wake Forest to highlight and showcase local talent the Triangle. The pieces on view were pulled from the Sunrise Series. Bringing color and light into the naturally lit restaurant space, each work radiates energy and vibrantly compliments the color food served at Poki Bowl Wake Forest. Artwork is on view from February 5 - March 27, 2023.
Through the manipulation of paint, mirrors and light, this series of work explores the duality of what is in and what is out of one’s control. Through the layering of forms, mediums, and concepts this series is the product of me taking control of the repetitive therapeutic process I use to explore my impulse to find stability in life.
Abstract art can take on many forms and interpretations. In March 2020 the 311 Gallery in Raleigh, NC curated a juried exhibition to unite these many interpretation in order to unpack the theme and showcase local talent.
Although hours were limited at the ladder end of the month due to the COVID-19 stay in place orders, this exhibition was an incredible honor to be a part of!
