These celebrations become part of the school-day experience: the surprise on the way into school, the photos with family and friends, and the excitement of seeing something created just for them.
My goal is to take the painting off your to-do list while helping you create a colorful core memory your student will remember.
The Rock Painting Process
1. RESERVE YOUR SCHOOL’S ROCK - You reserve the Spirit Rock directly through your school or sponsoring organization. Once confirmed, please forward your reservation confirmation to me to ensure that we have the greenlight to move forward: JSandersStudio@Gmail.com
2. BOOK YOUR PAINTING - $200 PER ROCK - Spirit Rock painting is offered at a set rate of $200 per rock, so you’ll know exactly what your celebration will cost upfront. Your $200 includes:
Reserving my time to paint your rock on the scheduled date
A custom design created specifically for your student and celebration
One round of minor design edits
Paint and standard painting supplies
On-site painting of your approved design
Painting services must be booked at least 2 weeks before your Spirit Rock reservation date. The $200 rate covers my painting and design services for one Spirit Rock. Any reservation fees charged by your school or sponsoring organization are separate and paid directly to them.
Payment can be made through Venmo: @JSandersStudio or this website shop listing. ***Please include your name, email, and rock reservation date in the subj line or notes of your payment.***
3. TELL ME YOUR IDEAS - After booking, you’ll receive a short design form where you can share your student’s name, colors, interests, theme ideas, wording, and other inspiration.
4. REVIEW YOUR DESIGN - Your custom design will be sent to you 5 days before your scheduled painting date. Any minor edit requests must be submitted at least 48 hours before painting begins. One round of minor revisions is included. The final design must be approved before painting can begin.
5. I PAINT — YOU CELEBRATE! - I’ll take care of bringing your approved design to life so it’s ready for your student’s celebration!

*NOTE - Bookings are available as early as 1 year ahead of the painting date. So if it’s on your to-do list, go ahead and book it!
5 DAYS BEFORE EVENT - Design Delivered
Your custom Spirit Rock design will be sent to you for review via email.
48+ HOURS BEFORE EVENT - Final Edits + Approval
Submit any minor revision requests and/or approve your final design. The final design must be approved before painting can begin.
DAY OF EVENT - Celebrate!
Your approved design is painted and ready for your student’s big moment!
