CanvasRebel approached me in the Summer of 2023 wanting to share my story, business, and creative journey with their readers.

Primarily covering my new creative porject, the Jackie Sanders Micro-Gallery, this article also unpacks my mission is to transform life’s mundane moments into memorable experiences and help people slow down to become more present to the moment that they are in.

The heart of the Voyage Raleigh’s mission is to find the amazing souls that breathe life into our communities. In the recent weeks, they’ve connected with local artists, creatives, and entrepreneurs.

It was honor to be included in this incredible group of features and to be highlighted next to several other extremely talented creative minds in our Raleigh community!

This publication was a full circle moment for me. I can only hope that the experiences, lessons, and skills that I share in this article can inspire a future alumni featured artist, just like the ones I read about did with me many years ago.

Creatives supporting creatives is a beautiful thing!

At the end of June I connected with a woman KJ on social media. She reached out to me and wanted to expand her writing portfolio by conducting an interview with me on my work. Talk about an honor and perfect timing!
